Uh ... Mac, or what my name Jock! A misdemeanor, which is usually invented by ignorance of English people (fortunately, most people do not know the English NO) is "Sweaty SWock" as rhyming slang for Jock.

Some nicknames are based on current abstracts of the traditional family name is based. Often presented as one word, great, wee, young or oor Auld (based on a relative by blood) before the name.

For example, saw Big Alec Jimmy Doon street youth.

Dod - George
Tam - Thomas
Davey - by David
Shug - for Hugh
Wullie - William
Jock - for John
Jimmy - James
Eck, Alec, Sandy, Zander, Alexander
Drew, Andy Andrew
Maggie - Margaret
Bessy - by Elizabeth
Annie Ann
Jessy - by Jesica
Jeanie - Jean

Jimmy has used the name if we do not know someone's name. This call is only a generic name for a man.

Call for chicken is usually a name for every woman.
